[OS X Emacs] System prefs (shortcuts) and Aquamacs

I wonder if that has been reported before:

WHan I specify a new shortcut in System Preferences, for ex "Aquamacs  
 > Calendar = F12", it shows in Aquamacs after I close the System  
Preferences, but it does not work (Aquamacs says "<f12> undefined").

Is that to be considered a bug ? Or is it something that can't be  
implemented now ?
