[OS X Emacs] SyncTex

I am adding this for the case if may be of some use to the developers...

When I was struggling with the tex version on aquamacs, I installed  
and tried emacs carbon.
Emacs accepted synctex without problems, so I infer it picked up  
MacTex2008.
That version was actually checked in the TeX Distribution panel of  
System Prefs...
