[OS X Emacs] Command-Escape ?

I'm trying to bind Cmd+Esc to other-frame but this:

(global-set-key (kbd "A-\e") 'other-frame)

does not seem to work although the expression is properly evaluated.

And when I check the Cmd-Esc binding in the help system, I get: <A-escape0 runs the command keyboard-escape-quit...

What is wrong here ?
