This is exactly the kind of problem I had under Aquamacs 2.1 that I tried to fix with gs 9.0.1, and then gave up for months, thinking "hey, Aquamacs 2.2 will be out soon!". So now could there still be a problem with Ghostscript (I'm on 8.71). But since I am on the older version that everyone says should work, I don't quite know what to do next.
