No, Bruno, you're *not* right! For me, who has a few new packages 
installed into /Library/Application\ Support/Emacs, it's just a few 
lines in the beginning of 
/Applications/EmacsJCVS.app/Contents/Resources/site-lisp/tex-site.el 
(the name I've chosen) and this Carbon Emacs finds the newer RefTeX, 
AUCTeX, preview-latex ... packages. One comment sign more and it 
behaves very fine. Although I am writing bug reports without stop ...

I think this latest Japanese version is the most developed one and 
worth to be considered -- preview-latex seems to have some problems!
