Let me second this message.

TeX Live 2009 and MacTeX-2009 were released last night. The link to
MacTeX on the MacTeX web page points to a multiplexer which selects a
particular mirror site to use. On that mirror site, MacTeX.mpkg.zip is
a symbolic link to the latest version of MacTeX. Until last night, it
pointed to mactex-20090320.mpkg.zip, which was the latest version of
MacTeX-2008. Starting today, the link points to
mactex-20091108.mpkg.zip, the release version of MacTeX-2009. However,
it takes up to a week for mirror sites to update themselves.

We'll be monitoring the situation. The MacTeX site, www.tug.org/
mactex, has a page listing mirror sites known to contain the latest
version, BUT we haven't updated that page yet and won't for three days
or so. When we update it, we'll announce it here, and then the page
will lead to a site with the latest version. And after about a week,
these difficulties will vanish as all sites update.
