[OS X TeX] Viewing PDFs under Sierra

Preview is not really suited to display PDF presentations - it has a Fullscreen mode and a Slideshow mode, but not a real presentation mode.

Skim is much better for this - press Command-Option-P for Presentation - or even TeXShop, with the "Fullscreen (Old Method)" command. I have used Skim for maybe a decade now; in the old days when Mac came with white remotes, Skim allowed me to present hands free without any configuration; it just worked.

To make matters worse, Sierra introduced a bug (or a new redrawing method, depending on point of view) that makes advancing slides with overlays notoriously shaking. No more smoothly new material appearing to be added to a slide; the whole redrawing is noticeable... and since is a PDFKit thing, all the above applications are affected by it.
