Howdy,

There is something crazy here. In Mail on my system the html extension is not part of the link, i.e. it tries (and fails) to open 
https://pages.uoregon.edu/koch/texshop/texshop

instead of 

<https://pages.uoregon.edu/koch/texshop/texshop.html>

(note: I added the < and > which forced the link to include the html; otherwise it wasn't included --- bug in mail?)
