Well, you have to have the teTeX founation in order to use LaTeX on <BR>
your system. Since TeXShop is merely a frontend those files are <BR>
essential. You said before the re-install things worked fine, but now <BR>
they don't. It appears that your TeX files somehow vanished and you <BR>
should consider re-installing those as well.<BR>

Get the teTeX distribution from Gerben's webpage http://www.rna.nl and <BR>
install again. then things should be working again.<BR>
