Don't know about better but Aspell is (La)TeX-aware so it won't go crazy with command names, etc.<br>

Also, you can install additional dictionaries for CocoAspell fairly<br>
easily. I'm not sure about doing this otherwise. So if you want<br>
spelling corrected when typing Welsh, say, that's perfectly possible.<br>
Since there's no Apple-supplied dictionary available, the results are<br>
infinitely better!<br>
