Can you launch Aquamacs Emacs with -Q, i.e. without any  
customisation, just the application's core? It goes from the command  
line like

	/Applications/Aquamacs\ Emacs.app/Contents/MacOS/Emacs -Q &


You don't mention crash reports – are some created?
