How to launch Terminal? It's in /Applications/Utilities. Double- 
clicking it will launch Terminal.

Or why I mention some file inside an application? Most applications  
are not single files but "bundles:" control-click on such an  
application bundle in Finder and choose "Show package contents" from  
the context menu. It will open a new Finder window. Navigate through  
it via Contents to MacOS. Now you can drag the Aquamacs Emacs  
programme from Finder onto Terminal. In Terminal add a SPC and the  
two characters -Q – the & is not that important. Finally press RET.
