Although not an answer to your question, there was a thread not so
long ago in the AUCTeX developers list about this.
It seems that it is not simply a question of Aquamacs, but of the PDF
viewer application.
One disturbing thing from that thread was that the AUCTeX developers
are under the impression that there is no emacs on Mac OS X for which
AUCTeX works out of the box. See, http://www.mail-archive.com/auctex-
