[OS X Emacs] spellcheck on Aquamacs ?

Ok, fixed now. I'm wondering if removing the spellcheck menu  
altogether when ispell/aspell are not available is the best strategy ?  
Why not simply grey it out ?

That would be consistent with the rest of the menu items.
