[OS X Emacs] Problem with Options:Appearance:Adopt Face and...

Hallo,

I found a minor quirk with Aquamacs 1.7 when trying to set a larger
default font size.

(1) Pressing A++ will increase the current font size (zoom: 120%),
which I find extremely useful. My intention was to always have that
font size as default for all buffer in all modes, so I tried
"Options:Appearance:Adopt Face...". I had previously hidden the
toolbar (using the button at the top-right corner of the Aquamacs
window), and used the green maximize button. When using the "Adopt
Face..." option, Aquamacs resized the window so that the bottom was no
longer visible. My guess is that the size of the (hidden) toolbar was
added. Saving Options and then restarting Aquamacs yields a smaller
frame than desired and the same font size.

(2) This worked for me: I used Cmd-Shift-T ("Options:Appearance:Font
for..."), adjusted the font size and did "Options:Save Options". I
realize that this is different from "Adopt Face..." which has a more
general scope.

Warm regards,
  Stefan
