[OS X Emacs] w3m

Howdy!

I installed emacs-w3m from cvs and it seems that the installation worked well.

I am running Aquamacs 2.0preview3 and Emacs 23 from Fink. I used the
Fink version of emacs-w3m.

In either case when I run M-x w3m I get:

Emacs-w3m of this version does not support Emacs 23; try the
development version.

On http://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/emacs-w3m this problem is discussed.

I tried to add lisp code to .emacs, but I still get the same error message.

I have not tried to recompile the bytecode because I do not know how
to and it is not explained on that web page.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Enrico
