[OS X Emacs] native spellcheck?

I reproduced your tests and confirmed that Aquamacs was NOT in fact using the system dictionary. Then I upgraded to the next nightly build. Now it does. This appeared to be an issue with the build available on July 4, but not on the build from July 7. 

Not sure my habit of keeping current is serving me well. :)
