[OS X Emacs] Dumb Paste?

A fairly old Aquamacs build:

This is GNU Emacs 22.1.50.1 (i386-apple-darwin8.10.1, Carbon Version 1.6.0)
 of 2007-10-02 on plume.sr.unh.edu - Aquamacs Distribution 1.2a
