[OS X Emacs] Aquamacs / aquamacs cmd line / emacsclient

  I have the following in my .profile:

export EDITOR="/Applications/Aquamacs.app/Contents/MacOS/bin/emacsclient"
alias ec="/Applications/Aquamacs.app/Contents/MacOS/bin/emacsclient"
and it  works like a charm exactly as you want it.
