[OS X Emacs] desktop-save doesn't save tabs?

Tom,
No trick.  I developed tab saving several versions ago, and frankly, it
needs attention in order to be made to work properly with the current
version.

I hope to make the needed fixes soon.  Sorry I can't give you a solution
now!
