[OS X Emacs] markdown-mode problem in Aquamacs 2.4

Hi,

in markdown code fragments are formatted by enclosing between doulbe back quotes, ``hello`` e.g. But typing the first closing back quote the text left including the opening back quotes becomes invie!ible. Deleting the closing back quote reappears. Strange!

Using Aquamacs 2.3 there isn't that problem.
