I don't know. I prefer to stay with old versions of Mac OS X that don't resemble so much a phone. Maybe it's worth to describe the problem, that although the frame sizes are set via the alists they automatically maximise, on the regular GNU Emacs help list, where the main programmer of the NS variant might be reading too:
