+1. Also on 10.9.5. Works like a charm.

Also thanks for providing the code to go back to standard Emacs
behaviour at <http://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/AquamacsEmacsCompatibilitySettings>.
I rebuilt my system from scratch last week. Thanks to your guide in
Emacswiki, Aquamacs was the programme that was the easiest of all to
configure.
