[OS X Emacs] command-line "aquamacs" doesn't work in El Capitan

Yes, that will work.
However, if you install the Aquamacs version available at http://aquamacs.org/nightlies.shtml ,
you can install the newest command line tool in El Capitan using the Tools menu.
You’ll also get a number of other improvements and fixes for El Capitan.
