[OS X Emacs] Touch-bar?

Hyper, super, coke bottle. 

Seems like it might be interesting to have an elisp interface that let you put whatever you want there. 

(define-touch-bar position label function)

But I have no idea what the underlying programming interface is now to suggest specific ways to expose it.
