[OS X Emacs] Problem following restart

Every time I restart my Mac, Aquamacs won’t open any buffers.  I don’t get any error messages, it’s just that nothing happens.  I have to remove the Aquatics preferences and reinstall.  Today even that didn’t work.  I’ve searched for others with this problem but haven’t found a solution.  Ideas?
