[OS X Emacs] Aquamacs and macOS Mojave

Ever since I updated to 10.14 Mojave, launching Aquamacs causes the window
to flash on for a fraction of a second and then I get a Spinning Beach Ball
of Death whenever Aquamacs is in the foreground. I have to force quit.
This was true of the 3.4 release version, and the Daily as of today at 1:09
PM.
It looks like it just spawns way too many processes.
Is it possible to have aquamacs skip loading the init files at runtime
without moving files around? like an "option-click" or something when
running?
