Subject: [OS X Emacs] New Aquamacs beta web site

Aquamacs fans,

Adam Zerella volunteered to update the Aquamacs web site and make it more helpful. As a first step, he has recreated the existing site in a new form based on GitHub Pages, and it?s now available at beta.aquamacs.org. Please take a look and let us know if you see any problems. We would also be delighted to hear suggestions for changes and improvements in both content and design.

Web site issues and suggestions can be entered at the GitHub repository at https://github.com/aquamacs-emacs/aquamacs-web-site, or mailed to the list. Feel free to propose a change in the source code for the web site as well through GitHub.

Ooo, this is great news.

I took a quick look at it, and it pointed me to the aquamacs wiki page on emacswiki, which says ?Aquamacs is maintained by DavidReitter. A number of people have contributed.?. I would have tried to update it, but I wasn?t sure what you might want it to say now..

Looks great - will try.   One thing I noticed on the new site - I clicked on "Feature Articles - LaTeX editing and got a 404 file not found....  Thought you'd like to know

[This would normally just go to the aquamacs-devel list, but I thought some of you might want to know about it.]

Aquamacs nightly builds are (more or less) back, with the updated link on the Nightlies web page (http://aquamacs.org/nightlies.shtml and http://beta.aquamacs.org/nightlies.shtml). Some of the other details on the page (availability of build logs, etc.) is incorrect and will be fixed soon.

If you?ve had problems with Aquamacs crashing on Catalina and want to give it a try, please do. It has seemed more stable for me on Catalina than raw 3.5, but I don?t have any hard data to back that up with.

Next up are looking at more of the crashes, especially on Catalina, and then updating the base Emacs code.

If you?d like to help triage the open issues on GitHub (https://github.com/aquamacs-emacs/aquamacs-emacs/issues), that would be most appreciated.
