[OS X Emacs] Spelling problems with Aquamacs 3.5 on macOS 10.15

Hello,

I am using Aquamacs 3.5.
After "upgrading" to macos 10.15.4 my spell system
stopped working correctly. In particular,
if I select aquamacs/Edit/Spelling/Spellcheck Now
I get: "Don't know how to make a localized  variable an alias";
if I select aquamacs/Edit/Spelling/Mark all mispellings
I get: Buffer has no process

Any suggestions on this?
