'Though you should, since you installed additional software at an extra place. Create (with elevated privileges) in /etc/paths.d a file "10-local" with /usr/local/bin in it and you should be done.


BTW, Ctrl-J and other similar constructs in (Emacs) Lisp related documentation mean that you hold your keyboard's CONTROL key while pressing the other key, "J" in my case.
