I am using Aquamacs 3.3 under OS X 10.10.5. If I choose a Custom Theme via the menu Options—>Customize Aquamacs—>Custom Themes everything looks good. But if I saved, quit Aquamacs and restart again I get only black text on dark background. I have deleted my Preferences.el and customization.el but see the same effect.
