<p dir="auto">It's not my favorite MacOS feature that Cmd-W is right next to Cmd-Q...</p>


<p dir="auto">I just once again pressed Cmd-Q, shutting down my long running emacs with all the files I needed open, etc.</p>


<p dir="auto">Is there some way to fix Emacs so that either:</p>


<ul>

<li><p dir="auto">(preferred) It asks me if I really want to quit when I press Cmd-Q or</p></li>

<li><p dir="auto">(less awesome, but still great) I just turn off Cmd-Q as quit and go back to using C-x C-c, which has always worked fine.</p></li>
