Great work on all the updates and fixes.
Does TeXShop also have a creator code? Will double-clicking on a
TeXShop document open TeXShop or does it rely on having a .tex extension or
something like that? Would adding a creator code break any other
functionality? Perhaps a preference where the creator code of documents
could be set? I have seen some programs that give this type of preference
with a editable text box as well as some pull-down presets and a way of
selecting a document or program to be like via the standard file dialogue.
I seem to recall seeing some Apple report about a bug in the Cocoa
type/creator routines that was to be fixed at some point in the future but
that there was a work around given in the way of some code to add to one's
software. Is this the Carbon code that Michael mentioned?
