[Mac OS X TeX] CMacTeX: perhaps a stupid question ...

<x-flowed>ok, this might sound a little strange and stupid, but i am just having
these problems ... i recently installed cmactex and tried it out today.
If i open a .tex file that is not located in the cmactex root folder, it
won't be typeset, since the tex program prompts with: cannot find file
"foo.tex". this cannot be the standard procedure ... so, here is the
question, how can i get tex to typeset a program stored anywhere on the
harddisk?? Thanks. Olli.
