Hello,
As to PS font sets, from within TeXShop:
- CM/PS and AMS/PS fonts are part of standard teTeX, in
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf/fonts/type1/bluesky/. So you don't have to
care about them, when you fire up TeXShop they're already there.
- After battling for some time with Lucida and MathTime fonts, in
Macintosh format from my former Textures setup, I finally realised I had
to convert them to pfb format using tools from the OS X CMacTeX
distribution. Details about the installation were given in a former
posting to this list, from Michael Murray on May 3rd (they may need some
adaptation, as the teTeX/TeXShop arborescence has changed a bit since
then, I don't remember exactly what I did but I finally put everything
inside appropriate subdirectories of ~/Library/texmf/fonts/type1/yandy).
- Once this is done everything works perfectly.
- One point though: I just have the basic MathTime font set, no MathTime
Plus (which never existed, to my knowledge, in Mac format). However the
mathtime files in the teTeX tree were created for the Plus set. This
means if you don't own this set, only the basic mtmi, mtsy, mtex fonts,
then you have to download from CTAN the original mathtime files,
uncomment a few lines in mathtime.ins and LaTeX it; this creates
appropriate .sty and .fd files, from the original .dtx, to replace the
files originally in teTeX.
Hope this helps,
