[OS X TeX] TexShop and line lengths

Friends:

When I send tex files created in TexShop to colleaques, they complain 
about long lines - they off to right almost forever before returning. Not 
all the lines are like this but many.

I see this myself when I  open it on the unix side of OSX in nedit.

Can I  set the TexShop editor to restrict the length of line and 
handle this properly?
