[OS X TeX] Graphics paths in dvips in TeXShop

Adding to Ross Moore's suggestions, it could be that the .eps files are 
in Mac format with CR line endings in which case dvips may be unable to 
handle them.

If you send me one (off list) I'll check this for you (if you do not 
know how to do it yourself).
