[OS X TeX] Hyphenation patterns in TeXShop

I made a quick Google search, and found two documents which seem to be some
kind of FAQ for using TeX in swedish:

document!!)

As far as I could understand the texts (did I mention I speak a little
swedish :-) the babel solution should work.

What exactly does not work when you use babel?
Do you get any error message (in this case I would recommend you to try
Gerben's tetex, since babel works fine here), or do you just not get the
expected hyphenations?
