[OS X TeX] Eps Graphi

A file that worked last summer with the then current TeXShop and teTeX
distribution now seems to be broken (I'm using TeXShop 1.17 and teTeX
installer version 2002-01-24-21-04-29). The problem is inlcuding an eps
graphics file.


    \usepackage[dvips]{graphicx}


in combination with


    \begin{figure}[h!]
        \centering
        \includegraphics[scale=0.5]{SommerKlausur_Spule.eps}
        \caption{Drei Spulenkonfigurationen}
        \label{fig:}
    \end{figure}


now compiles properly but just gives a blank where the picture should be.
Any idea what's wrong?
