Actually it did require a bit of porting to get it compiling and working 
on Mac OS X. There were also some eol-style issues left in the port that 
surfaced because of the Mac OS X port where old-style Mac OS and new 
style Mac OS X line endings both are available. And some other 
additions/fixes were needed.
