[OS X TeX] TexShop installation problems

Well, you have to have the teTeX founation in order to use LaTeX on 
your system. Since TeXShop is merely a frontend those files are 
essential. You said before the re-install things worked fine, but now 
they don't. It appears that your TeX files somehow vanished and you 
should consider re-installing those as well.

Get the teTeX distribution from Gerben's webpage http://www.rna.nl and 
install again. then things should be working again.
