[OS X TeX] New Acrobat Reader (5.1) ...

I think Michael (Murray) said earlier that there is still no transition 
function in this new release of AcrReader 5.1. Have a look at 
preferences --> full screen mode --> transitions. There are a large 
number of possibilities given.
