[OS X TeX] parentheses in pairs in Emacs

Hi,

I am setting up my new Powerbook, and unfortunately don't have my
previous .emacs file handy.

I had some code that did the following in latex-mode: when I typed (,
[, {, they came out in pairs, ie (), [], {}.  Does anybody have
something similar?  My Lisp programming skills are rather limited, so
I would prefer not doing it myself (I don't know from where I got it
originally). \{ -> \{\} would be nice, too ;-)
