[OS X TeX] dayroman font doesn't work on my computer

Hello!

I've installed the day roman font in my /Users/patrickf/Library/texmf/   
directory, but when I compile I get this error message : <mktexpk:  
don't know how to create bitmap font for dayrom__.>
and I get a white page. A missfont.log file gets created with the line  
<mktexpk --mfmode / --bdpi 600 --mag 1+0/600 --dpi 600 dayrom__> in it.
