[OS X TeX] [OT] Information in finder windows

Hi,

this is probably to much OT, but I hope it might be interesting for others too:

In the OSX's finder windows, when 'view' is set 'as columns' the only information about a selected item is displayed as following (at the bottom line of each window):

"x items, xx GB available" or "x of x selected, xx GB available".

To get information about folder/file size you have to open the respective information window (cmd-i).

Is there a tool / a hack that provides to change the bottom line of the finder's folder window so that displays like this:

"x items, size xx MB, xx GB available"
or
"x of x selected, size xx MB, xx GB available"

Thank you for any advice!

Apologies for posting OT,
Steffen
