[OS X TeX] emacs and Applescript

The Script Editor tells me that Enrico's emacs is not scriptable. Is 
their way to extract the path information of a document from emacs (via 
an Applescript)? Of course one could always enter the path manually 
into an Applescript, but this is a bit cumbersome.
