[OS X TeX] New version of Texmaker

I had a quick look at it and it looks quite nice, but the obvious
question for me is: Does it offer anything over TeXShop or iTeXMac?
From my short glance I can't tell that.
And since we're already at: What's the state of these two apps? Can we
expect any updates in the next time? There's little to none information
on their homepages.
