[OS X TeX] Permission problem with textcomp.sty in texmf.gwtex?

Howdy,

Ahhh... That's why I got a blank sheet when I tried to open textcomp.sty in
TeXShop.

Went to Terminal and did

sudo chmod 644 
/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf.gwtex/tex/latex/base/textcomp.sty

(all on one line, of course) and was able to access it.
