[OS X TeX] installing texlive

Howdy,

Looks like a path problem. What is the result of

echo $PATH

in Terminal? Have you tried to add more than one ``version'' of TeX; e.g.,
TeXLive or Fink as well as gwTeX? This can lead to path problems.
