A fitting analogy.

Doing font installation for LaTeX is a bit more difficult 'cause fonts 
in TeX / LaTeX are expected to be more capable than fonts in other 
systems and the user has to fill in what's missing.

That said, w/ Philipp Lehman's wonderful text, it's hard to go wrong.
